Noida inks pacts with 50 companies & targets ₹60,000-cr investment

Noida, a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, has inked pacts with 50 companies and is targeting an investment of ₹60,000 crore (US$8.53 billion). The companies that have signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Noida include Adani Group, Ambuja Realty, Godrej Properties, ITC Limited, Mahindra Lifespace Developers, Panchsheel Group and Tata Realty.

The investment is expected to generate employment for over two lakh people. The 50 companies that have signed the MoU with Noida are expected to invest in sectors such as infrastructure, real estate, healthcare, education, food processing and logistics.

Noida has been ranked as the second most livable city in India by the Mercer Quality of Living Survey 2018. The city has also been ranked as the safest city in India by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
