NHSRCL signs agreement with L&T for Mumbai-Ahmedabad HSR Corridor works

National High-Speed ​​Rail Corporation Limited and Larsen & Toubro Limited have signed an agreement to design and construct viaducts of approximately 8 km, including the HSR station at Vadodara, Gujarat, for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed ​​Rail Corridor (MAHSR). C-5 package).

To ensure a seamless connection to the railway, the Vadodara HSR station is planned to be built on top of the existing platform 7 of the Indian Railways Vadodara station. With this integration, passengers will gain the comfort of easy transfer between HSR and Indian Railways.

NHSRCL has awarded 100% civil works contract for construction of MAHSR Route (352 km out of 508 km of MAHSR total corridor) in Gujarat, including 8 HSR stations (located at Sabarmati, Ahmedab​​​​​​​​, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Billimora and Vapi) and two rolling stock depots in Sabarmati and Surat.
