NHAI unveils ₹4,750 crore highway widening project

Bengaluru-Hyderabad (NH 44) highway widening project will be an investment of ₹4,750 crore. The project aims to provide hassle-free movement of vehicular traffic between the two state capitals. It is also set to get a real-time digital information management system. Bengaluru airport is located on the Hyderabad road and both the airports are located at a distance of 40 km from the city centre.

Hyderabad-Bengaluru highway is a key road that connects north and central parts of India and even till Kanyakumari. If the road is converted to a six-lane, the travel time may decrease further. The road users are happy with the highway widening decision.
