Namami Gange sewerage projects in Patna are expected to be finished by 2023

Tarkishore Prasad, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, has directed officials in his urban development and housing department to ensure that all long-awaited sewerage infrastructure projects in Patna under the Namami Gange programme are completed by 2022-23.

After the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report was tabled in the assembly in March, the executing agency, Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd, was chastised for failing to complete projects under the Namami Gange initiative within the specified timeframe.
