To increase its retail and commercial real estate footprint throughout Bangalore, Goa, and Andhra Pradesh, M.S.Ramaiah Developers and Builders (MSRDB) has decided to invest 3,000 crore. With the intended investment, the company will double its present 4.5 million square foot retail and commercial portfolio to over 8 million square feet. The majority of these projects will be built in North Bangalore, where the corporation is eager to build 3-5 million square feet of land each year.

The business is currently developing a 900,000 square foot entertainment and hospitality project near the airport, in addition to three other hospitality projects in Bangalore and Coorg. In order to increase the size of its residential portfolio, it has also entered into joint venture and joint development agreements totaling more than 12 million square feet. Among other major developers, MSRDB, which has a sizable land bank in north Bangalore, has partnered with TATA Realty, Birla Estates, Godrej Properties, and Embassy Group.
