MSL Expands Manufacturing Facility to Enter Larger Markets

Mobility Solutions Limited (MSL), part of JCBL Group, has expanded its manufacturing facility in Batauli, Punjab, to tap into new market potential across multiple industries. The facility spans over 41,700 square meters and aims to cater to railways, automotive.

Sefense, aerospace, and infrastructure sectors. Commercial production began in December 2024, with plans to achieve full operational capacity by July 2025. The Conmat Group, which employs over 450 skilled professionals and 350 contractual workers, is well-positioned to capitalize on this growth.

The facility will also establish a Centre of Excellence, integrate R&D, tooling, prototyping, manufacturing, and testing, and triple production capacity. The plant incorporates green initiatives, including renewable energy systems and a solar energy system.

  • 2010: An expander was added to the 14-inch seamless pipe mill, extending MSL’s product range up to 20 inches in diameter.
  • 2012: MSL commissioned a state-of-the-art Continuous Mandrel Pipe Mill (MPM) at Mangaon, Maharashtra, further enhancing its seamless pipe manufacturing capacity.
  • 2020: The company acquired United Seamless Tubulaar Pvt. Ltd. (USTPL) in Narketpally, Telangana, through the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), expanding its production capacity and product offerings.
