MoRTH launches ₹5,722cr highway projects in MP

Road Transport and Highways Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has broken ground on 11 national road projects in Madhya Pradesh with a total length of 534 km and an investment of Rs 5,722 crore. The projects will also provide easy transportation for pilgrims and tourists and better access to existing agricultural markets near Ujjain.

The Ujjain-Dewas Industrial Corridor will be developed and jobs will be created in the area. The entire Marwa-Nimar region was developed and the border area was developed as a camp centre. This saves time and fuel and makes travel safer. Governments are continually taking steps to build the next generation of infrastructure, promising to ensure seamless connectivity, faster development, better security and prosperity.
