MoRTH launches ₹2,300-cr NH projects in MP

The Union Transport Minister has laid the groundwork for three road projects and one flyover worth a total of 2,300 crores. The project involves the Indore-Burhanpur road, the Indore-Harda road segment, the Bypass service road, and a flyover on Rau Circle. A four-lane national highway from Tejaji Nagar to Burhanpur via Balwara will cost Rs. 1,163 crore to build.

In addition, the road from Tejaji Nagar to Balwara would be strengthened at a cost of 31.54 crores. At a cost of 1,012 crore, the project also includes the construction of another four-lane national highway between the city and Harda. The highway will provide direct road access between the city and Nagpur via Harda and Betul. The Union Minister also announced the construction of a four-lane flyover at Rau for Rs 44 crore to relieve traffic congestion at the Rau circle.
