The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a tender for the building of NH-31 in West Bengal, which is estimated to cost 754.72 crore. The project entails four/six-laning of NH-31 into a new NH-10 with both side service roads from 569/258 km to 581/030 km at Shivmandir to Sevoke Army Cantonment, using an engineering procurement and construction (EPC) approach with a 30-month completion period.
