As part of the 158 km long northern Regional Ring Road (RRR) construction, the Ministry of Road Transport and National Highways has published gazette notices for land acquisition in four units. Nearly 698 hectares in Sangareddy, Bhongir, Gajwel, and Narsapur are the subject of the notifications.
The ministry had previously sent out a notification for units including Yadadri-Bhongir, which needed to acquire 208.6 hectares, and the Andhole-Jogipet unit, which needed to acquire 108.94 hectares.
The process of acquiring land should be finished in six months. The State government has already committed to paying 50% of the costs associated with acquiring the land, in addition to providing whatever assistance necessary to speed up the process. After determining the precise road width using differential GPS, marking for the RRR alignment has been completed, and stones will be placed.
As the ministry has already granted National Highway status to the Northern part of RRR road, which is being built to cover 340 km, two additional notifications are anticipated to be issued by the ministry to begin the land acquisition process for the northern part of RRR, which covers the Sangareddy-Narsapur-Toopran-Gajwel-Yadadri-Choutuppal route.
