The greenfield road corridor between Pune and Bengaluru, involving an investment of about $31,000 crore, has been expedited by MoRTH. When finished, it will cut the distance between these two cities in half—from 840 km to 745 km—and the time it takes to travel between them by four to five hours.
It will be built as part of the Bharatmala Pariyojna and will be the state’s first national highway with two five-kilometer airstrips for IAF fighters to take off and land on in case of an emergency. Additionally, there will be hotels by the side of the road, parks for kids to play in, and separate restrooms for drivers. The cars will be able to travel at a speed of 120 km/h. The road will have four, six, and eight layers with lush vegetation.

Diethanolamine (MDEA) plant in the Kingdom. This collaboration marks a strategic step toward enhancing local production of advanced chemical products, boosting the country’s economic growth, and aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which focuses on diversifying its industrial base and reducing reliance on oil exports.
The MDEA plant will be a key player in the growing demand for chemicals used in natural gas treatment, particularly in the oil and gas industry. MDEA is widely used to remove carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide from natural gas and other petrochemical products, making it essential for refining and petrochemical operations. The establishment of the plant will help meet the rising demand for MDEA, providing a vital solution for the region’s energy and industrial sectors while contributing to the sustainability and environmental goals of the Kingdom.
