The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) achieved notable advancements on several fronts in April 2024. 483 kilometres of the National Highway work have been completed, as opposed to 523 kilometres during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
Furthermore, by the end of April, MoRTH has spent Rs. 54,545 crore on capital projects for the fiscal year 2024–25, or 20.04% of the overall spending of Rs. 2,72,241 crore. Land acquisition activities continued, resulting in 88 notifications being sent out and the processing of almost Rs. 600 crore in compensation via Bhoomi.
