Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) has leased 1.4 million square feet of storage facilities in the LOGOS Luhari Logistics Park in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi. It represents India’s largest storage facility in a single park.

According to the agreement, LOGOS will develop three A-level storage facilities for MLL in Luhari Logistics Estate. The initial 500,000-square-foot facility has been completed and is fully operational, while the other two facilities are under development and are expected to be completed in December 2021 and the end of 2022, respectively.
The new warehousing facility will be the key to Mahindra’s multi-customer facility pan-India network, which manages the realization and distribution of its customer services.
Mehul Shah, CEO of LOGOS, said that the three warehouses will be delivered with a lean structure, including off-site prefabrication, manufacturing, pre-assembly and externally developed components. Despite the challenges of Covid-19, with a strong local network and regional expertise, the first storage facility was completed within the deadline.
These are designed in accordance with the company’s sustainability standards, including liquid discharge management and renewable energy, waste management and state-of-the-art automation.
Rampraveen Swaminathan, CEO and Managing Director of Mahindra Logistics, stated that the company aims to provide integrated, customized solutions for inbound, fulfillment and warehousing networks. The company will develop its business and potential customers in all regions.
MLL will pay $45 million in rent for the space within nine years. It will employ more than 2,500 employees and third-party employees in the new facility.
LOGOS’ and Mahindra Logistics are committed to sustainable development. The new warehouse will adopt sustainability and environmental initiatives, including a 20-acre Miyawaki Forest Plantation, solar power generation, warehouse distribution and infrastructure energy supply.
