MahaMetro submits DPR for ₹3,357 cr twin corridors in Pune

With a total length of 12.75 km and an investment of 3,357 crore, the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation has submitted the Detailed Project Report to the Pune Municipal Corporation for two metro corridors: Vanaz to Chandni chowk and Ramwadi to Wagholi. The additional routes are High-Capacity Mass Transit Route, SNDT to Warje, Swargate to Hadapsar, Hadapsar to Kharadi, and Khadakwasla to Swargate.

According to PMC Project Head Srinivas Bonala, the extension from Vanaz to Chandni Chowk is 1.12 km long and will cost 343.07 crore. The Ramwadi to Wagholi corridor spans 11.63 km and costs a total of 3,014 crore. There will be one more metro station along the Ramwadi to Wagholi corridor and 11 more along the Vanaz to Chandni Chowk corridor.
