Lundin Mining appoints Jack Lundin as President

Jack Lundin, who has served as Chairman of the Board and Interim President and CEO since September 1, 2018, has been appointed President and CEO of Lundin Mining Corporation, effective immediately.

“I am honoured to be appointed President and CEO of Lundin Mining and to lead the Company through its next phase of growth,” said Mr. Lundin. “I would like to thank the Board for their confidence in me and look forward to working with our talented team as we continue to create value for our shareholders.”

Lundin Mining is a diversified base metals mining company with operations in Chile, the United States of America, Portugal, and Sweden, primarily producing copper, nickel and zinc. In addition, Lundin Mining holds a 24% equity stake in the world-class Tenke Fungurume copper-cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
