Lundin Mining appoints

new president

Lundin Mining Corporation (TSX:LUN) (OMX:LUMI) (“Lundin Mining” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Conibear as President and a Director of the Company effective August 1, 2018. Mr. Conibear is a mining engineer with over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He has a track record of success in mine operations, project development and corporate management.

Most recently, Mr. Conibear served as the President and CEO of North American Nickel Inc. (TSXV:NAN) where he led the turnaround of the Company and the successful restart of the Post Creek mine in the Yukon. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Project Development at IAMGOLD Corporation where he was responsible for the development of the Côté Gold Project, which is now under construction. Mr. Conibear has also held various leadership roles at Barrick Gold Corporation, Placer Dome Inc. and Inco Limited.
