L&T has won a significant contract from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) to design and construct the underground Metro Project of Phase IV of Delhi MRTS. The scope of work includes design and construction of 5-km of twin.
tunnel (Up & Down Line) by Shield Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM). The project is funded by JICA and L&T takes pride to be re-associated with DMRC for this prestigious project. A major part of the work is located in South Delhi and the entire project has to be completed in 42 months.
