L&T Construction wins Hi-Tech IT Parks project in Bangladesh

Larsen & Toubro’s construction division has secured orders for the construction of high-tech IT campuses at 8 locations in Bangladesh (2 parcels at 4 locations each). Funded by the Export-Import Bank of India, the project is L&T’s first IT and office space order in Bangladesh.

The project includes the procurement and construction of 1.2 million square feet of 7-story steel buildings at all 8 locations. Includes civil, finishes, façade and M&E works with a LEED Gold rating. The project sites are located in Rangpur, Natore, Jamalpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Gopalganj and Barisal districts of Bangladesh.

It also includes HVAC, elevators, electrical, fire protection systems, public health engineering, networking and security systems, building management systems, site development, roads, fences, landscaping, arboriculture, and more.
