Larsen & Toubro has secured an order from the Tamil Nadu Road Infrastructure Development Corporation to construct the Chennai Peripheral Ring Road. The scope of work in the project includes construction of a six-lane greenfield highway with flexible pavement, two lane service roads and paved shoulders.
The order involves design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 750 Volt DC Third Rail Traction System, receiving substations and 33kV Cable Network for Agra Metro Rail Project at Agra in Uttar Pradesh. The 36-month project will be funded by the European Investment Bank.
