The Indian Achiever’s Forum honoured Kumar Keshav, MD, UPMRC, with the prestigious ‘Man of Excellence Award 2021-22’ for his significant contribution to the expansion of Uttar Pradesh’s metro network.
As the Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, Kumar Keshav was instrumental in the successful commercial launch of Kanpur Metro’s Priority Corridor from ‘IIT Kanpur to Motijheel’ in a record time of 2 years and 1.5 months. Under his tenacious leadership, the Lucknow Metro project’s 23-kilometer North-South Corridor from ‘CCS Airport to Munshipulia’ was successfully completed in just 4.5 years, 36 days ahead of schedule.
