K2 Infragen Secures ₹90.2 Cr Contract for Rail Over Bridge in UP

For the construction of a four-lane rail over bridge on the Patna-Mughalsarai Section of the Danapur Division in Chandauli District, Uttar Pradesh, K2 Infragen Ltd has been awarded a contract worth ₹90.2 crore. A joint venture consisting of M/s Gangasagar Singh & PRL Infrastructure won the tender; K2 Infragen assumed full executional responsibilities.

The UP-State Bridge Corporation Ltd. is in charge of the project, and it should be finished in 18 months. Strengthening connection corridors and improving mobility along train lines are the objectives of Uttar Pradesh’s infrastructure development programmes.

The MD of K2 Infragen Ltd., Pankaj Sharma, expressed his happiness at the chance, saying, “We are excited to be in charge of this important project’s implementation. We anticipate that this deal would bring in ₹35 crores to our income in FY 2024–2025. The construction of this Rail Over Bridge would greatly improve Chandauli’s railway network and support government initiatives to modernise Indian Railways. Our goal is to improve connectivity and transportation in North India by completing projects on schedule and with high quality work.”
