Jharkhand government has cleared multiple infrastructure projects involving ₹2,937 crore investment. The project includes four-lane flyover-cum-elevated road construction between Siromtoli Chowk and Mecon roundabout in Ranchi, costing ₹337.5 crore. The cabinet approved the strengthening and widening of nine other roads in areas like Godda, Gumla, Dumka, Seraikela-Kharsawan, East Singhbhum, Jamtara and Pakur districts, entailing an investment of ₹419 crore.
The cabinet also approved a proposal of the state energy department to lay transmission lines and set up infrastructural facilities to evacuate power from the under-construction Patratu Thermal Power plant in Ramgarh district at a net worth of ₹2,181.96 crore, cabinet secretary Vandana Dadel informed.
