JCB, a global leader in material handling equipment, unveiled its first diesel Telescopic Boom Platform, the T 65D, at the Aerial Platform Association of India’s (APAOI) conference in Goa. The T 65D is designed for reliability, efficiency, comfort, and safety, and is manufactured at JCB’s Jaipur facility. JCB India’s CEO, Deepak Shetty, announced the launch of a world-class machine, focusing on safety and productivity, offering customers the option to buy made-in-India equipment with full product support. The machine, powered by a JCB diesel engine, has a platform height of 65 ft & 4 in, a reach of 56 ft & 6 in, and a maximum load of 450 kgs, offering enhanced safety features and productivity.
India’s strong economy presents opportunities for products like Telescopic Boom Lift, available for domestic and global exports due to its expected growth in business and trade. JCB’s T 65D, a make in India initiative, is widely used in construction, cement, oil & gas, airports, warehouses, and height-operating industries. JCB has established a distribution network for its machines, utilizing 11 dealers with trained engineers and parts backup for seamless operation across India.
