Ingka Centres plans ₹3,500cr mixed-use project

Ingka Centres is part of the Ingka Group, which also includes IKEA Retail and Ingka Investments. It will invest approximately 35 billion rupees, totaling 400 million euros, to build a 130,000 square meter mixed-use development project in Gurgaon.

The project is called the “gathering place” and construction is about to start, and it is expected to receive more than 20 million people every year. Ingka Centers stated that entering India is part of its strategy to expand into new markets and shape a retail-oriented destination portfolio suitable for its future business expansion.

Cindy Andersen Ingka Centres MD stated that India is an exciting opportunity for India and its partners to bring new experiences to customers and develop gathering places that bring value to the community and the planet.

The Ingka Centers 52nd meeting place will be developed under the new Livat brand and will provide hotels, food and beverages, educational and entertaining learning spaces, and a wide range of retail products based on IKEA stores.
