In Bihar, PM Announces National Highway Projects Worth ₹18,100 Cr

The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for National Highway projects valued at over ₹18,100 crores. These projects include the 63.4 km long two-lane Jaynagar-Narahia section of NH-227, the six-lane Patna ring road segment, a second flyover in Kishanganj town, and the four-laning Bakhtiyarpur-Rajauli and Arra-Parariya sections.

The Prime Minister has initiated six new National Highway projects, including the construction of four-lane access-controlled Greenfield highways, a 25 km long four-lane elevated corridor from Danapur to Bihta, and the upgrading of the Bihta-Koilwar section’s existing two-lane to four-lane carriageway. These initiatives aim to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, promote tourism, and drive socio-economic development in the region.
