Hindustan Construction and Tata Projects Secure ₹2,191 Crore Indore Metro Deal

Hindustan Construction Company Ltd. (HCC) and Tata Projects Ltd. have received a contract worth ₹2,191 crore from Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) for civil construction work. HCC holds a 55% stake in the joint venture, resulting in a share of ₹1,205 crore.

The project will construct an underground corridor of 8.65 km and seven underground metro stations. Package IN-05R refers to the awarded contract for the underground section of the Indore Metro Phase 1 project. HCC is currently executing four km of twin tunnels and four metro stations of the Mumbai Metro Line III. The firm is also re-evaluating two packages for the Chennai Metro rail project.
