Hiab Secures Major Equipment Orders Worth EUR 15.4 Mn in the INDIA

Hiab, a global provider of smart and sustainable on-road load handling solutions, has secured significant orders in the US for its MOFFETT truck-mounted forklifts, HIAB loader cranes, and WALTCO tail lifts, totaling EUR 15.4 million. Hiab, a leading provider of on-road load handling equipment and a part of the Cargotec Corporation, has announced that it has secured equipment orders worth EUR 15.4 million (approx. ₹140 crore) from various customers across India. The orders, which are expected to be delivered in phases during 2025, mark a significant step in Hiab’s expanding presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing economies.

Driving Growth in Logistics, Infrastructure, and Waste Management

The order portfolio includes truck-mounted cranes, hooklifts, tail lifts, and other advanced handling systems. These will be deployed across sectors such as infrastructure development, logistics, urban waste management, and construction—key areas aligned with India’s current focus on rapid urbanization and infrastructure.

Hiab has positioned this move as part of its global expansion strategy, aligning with India’s national priorities such as the Smart Cities Mission, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and PM Gati Shakti, all of which call for efficient, modern equipment to streamline operations in urban and industrial environments growth.
