Haryana targets ₹4,800 cr infra investment in Global City

The Haryana government has set aside Rs 4,800 crore to build modern infrastructure in the Global City, which spans 1,003 acres in Gurgaon and is accessible via the Dwarka Expressway. To assist in the development of the mega city project, the state CM has convened a series of consultations with developers from the NCR, Bangalore, and Mumbai, and will soon hold a similar stakeholders’ meeting in Dubai. The state government is actively interested in the development of the world-class metropolis, with the first phase focusing on road, metro, and helipad connectivity. The future city will be located near a multi-modal logistics park, with an emphasis on sustainability and environmentally friendly methods. The available land will be mixed-use, with both commercial and residential structures planned.
