Haryana hastens ₹2,281 cr Gurgaon-Dwarka metro line

The detailed project report (DPR) for the metro line between Dwarka Sector 21 in Delhi and Palam Vihar in Gurgaon is almost finished. At Dwarka Sector 21, the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRC) is investigating the viability of keeping the line elevated or subterranean. In order to accommodate the metro alignment with ROW standards, negotiations with NHAI are now in progress. The Department of Project Review (DPR) for the $2,281 project will then be delivered to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) for final approval. The metro line would have seven stations, four in Gurugram and three in Delhi, with two of them serving as interchange stations. The metro line will be 8.4 km long, with 4 km in Gurugram and 4.4 km in Delhi. While the stations in Delhi would be located at Dwarka Sector 28, Dwarka Sector 25, and Dwarka Sector 21, those in Gurugram will be erected at Rezang La Chowk, Choma, Sector 110, and Sector 111.
