In order to vigorously promote the industrial clusters in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, these states are developing four greenfield industrial cities or nodes under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) with an investment of 16,750 crore. The government has approved 11 such corridors, including 32 projects, for development in four phases.
