For a textile plant in Madhya Pradesh, Godrej Electricals & Electronics, a division of Godrej & Boyce, has put a 12.5 MWp rooftop solar installation into service. It is the first of its type in the state and one of the three biggest rooftop solar projects in India, spanning one million square feet of industrial sheds. With this initiative, the textile factory will get green energy, saving an estimated 17 million kWh of electricity annually. Godrej Electricals & Electronics will keep concentrating on cutting-edge approaches to sustain technical leadership, generate jobs, and decarbonize energy-intensive industries.
