In Gurugram, three National Highway projects totaling $3,449 crore were officially opened by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
The 22 km long, six-lane Sohna elevated expressway, built on NH 248 from Gurugram to Sohna in the Gurugram district, is the first project and costs 2,009 crores.
The second project involves building a four-lane road on NH-11 from Rewari to Ateli Mandi. This 30.39 km route’s construction cost around Rs. 1,193 crore.
Similarly, a 4-lane project (NH-709) extension and NH-148B of about 25 km length from Kherdi Mor to Haluwas village via Bhiwani bypass was also inaugurated, for which around ₹247 crore has been spent.
