The girders for the building of the Airoli Katai Naka elevated Road will be launched on December 25 and 26 at midnight. Traffic will be blocked during this time.
For the purpose of launching the girders for the future Airoli Katai Naka elevated road construction project, a special traffic block will be in place on Sunday, December 25, and Monday, December 26, from 1 am to 6 am for six hours.
For the safety of travellers, heavy vehicle movement on state highway 4 between Mumbra and Shilphata will be prohibited during the special traffic block. According to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), the project’s implementing authority, the Mumbra Y junction flyover will be remained closed to all vehicles and traffic will be diverted from underneath it.
Eight 63-foot-long steel girders are required for the building of an elevated road crossing of State Highway 4 at Airoli Katai Naka.
