Fire safety regulations were broken at the Godrej Properties site in Mumbai, according to a Kandivali resident.

A Kandivali resident has accused Godrej Properties of breaking fire safety regulations at their site in Mumbai. The resident, who did not want to be named, said that he had seen workers smoking on the site and that there was no water available to put out a fire. He also said that the site was not well-lit and that there were no fire extinguishers visible. The resident has demanded that the company take action to improve the safety of the site.

The former building site of Godrej Nest is now a plant producing ready-mixed concrete that is sold to surrounding construction projects. The entire neighbouring neighbourhood is being violated en masse while @GodrejGroup @iGodrejproperty @GodrejAndBoyce are busy earning money.

Since December 12, the user has expressed concerns to the company as well as the BMC and Mumbai Police, according to his thread. He shared images from the site and expressed his displeasure with the “open flouting of norms” and said that “tax-paying citizens cope with continual noise, sound pollution.”
