The Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC)-Vishwakarma award 2022 was given to Dr. L.R. Manjunatha, VP, JSW Cement – Direct sales and sustainability Initiatives, in the award category IV D –Achievement award for Industry –Technologist.
The Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) considers the following factors when deciding whether or not to award the award:
•48 research papers have been published in national and international journals, as well as construction industry magazines.
•Has two books published by Lambert Academic Publishing on sustainable constructions and geopolymer concretes.
•Attended over 50 national and international conferences and seminars to present papers
•Invited speakers and panellists to numerous conferences, including the Indian Concrete Institute, IITs, ACCE(I), and Realty conclaves, among others.
•Over 57000 reads for my research papers on Research Gate and Academia research portals (Research Gate /Linked in Manjunatha L.R.) across the globe, and over 6000 reads on Academia portal across 150 countries.
•Invited to speak as a panellist at leading conferences on alternative green building materials
•Guest Editor: NBM&CW Magazine 2019: Special Issue on Sustainable Concretes.
•Gave over 600 guest lectures on concrete technology, blended cement, concrete sustainability, best construction practises, ready-mixed concretes, and special concretes to a variety of educational institutions and engineering colleges, receiving letters of appreciation.
•Reviewer of research papers for a variety of publications.
