DMRC starts ground work on Light Metro corridor

DMRC starts ground work on Light Metro corridor

The DMRC has conducted a survey for the construction of a light metro corridor between Shastri Park and Kondli in Yamunapar. The corporation is planning to build a new corridor on which the low-cost light metro will run. The feasibility report on this has already been sent to the government for approval.

Light Metro between Shastri Park and Kondli is currently in the work. If approved, this corridor will be 15-km long and after construction many parts of the eastern district which are located between the Blue Line (Vaishali to Dwarka) and the Pink Line corridor passing through Vikas Marg will get direct metro connectivity.
