The new flyover aims to offer a signal-free corridor, reducing travel time by an estimated 15–20 minutes during rush hours and the iconic Signature Bridge.

The ₹183 crore project cost will cover not only the construction of the flyover structure but also associated development such as service roads, drainage systems, pedestrian pathways, street lighting, and landscaping. The flyover’s design will incorporate modern urban engineering standards, ensuring durability, safety.

As part of the government’s commitment to sustainability and inclusive infrastructure, the project will also include provisions for non-motorized transport (NMT) such as cycle tracks and sidewalks, encouraging safer greener travel options for pedestrians and cyclists With a sanctioned budget of ₹183 crore, project.
