Dalmia Bharat Starts Cement Production at Assam Unit

Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL) has started commercial production of its 2.4 MTPA increased cement grinding capacity at Lanka, Assam, bringing its total cement manufacturing capacity to 8 MnT in the North-East and 49 MTPA Pan-India. The new unit is part of the company’s planned investment of Rs 3,642 Cr to strengthen.

Other notable developments include land acquisition for the 77.4-km PMRDA Ring Road project, Welspun Corp securing orders for US gas pipeline projects, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema launching road infrastructure projects, and BOOTES & SIPL forming a strategic technology partnership to drive sustainable road construction.
