Centre sanctions ₹15,700 cr for rail & road infra in UP

In Uttar Pradesh, the infrastructure for the state’s roads and trains has been given the approval of the union minister for highways and road construction. For the construction of road over and rail over bridges, MoRTH has approved 700 crore.

while 15,000 crore has been approved for the development of national roads. In addition, the union minister directed his ministry staff to approve 676 crore rupees for the renovation, enlargement, building of drains, and installation of streetlights on ancient NH portions in metropolitan areas.
