Caterpillar plans to expand in India and introduces two new products

Caterpillar has introduced two next-generation products in India, the Cat 303 CR Mini Excavator and the Cat 120 GC Motor Grader, which will help the company expand its presence in the infrastructure, mining, and energy sectors.

These two products, as well as Caterpillar’s existing line of excavators, motor, wheel, backhoe, and skid steer loaders, were on display at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) EXCON 2022 in Bengaluru.
Amit Bansal, director of sales for Caterpillar’s building construction products division, said the Cat 303 Mini Hex is built to work efficiently and safely in any challenging situation. Caterpillar offers an integrated portfolio of machines, services, and technologies to help customers achieve end-to-end sustainable solutions.

A Cat C1.1 turbo engine with a gross power of up to 18.4 KW at 2400 rpm powers the Cat 303 CR mini excavator. It complies with EU Stage V emission standards and has a stick steer and cruise control mode of operation.
Mukul Dixit, director of sales and marketing for Caterpillar’s global construction and infrastructure division, said the Cat 120 GC Motor Grader was created to assist customers in finding the best solution for high productivity. It aspires to go beyond the expectations and demands of customers.
It is equipped with industry-leading features that ensure dependable performance and cost-effective ownership and operation.
