crore, are intended to decrease oil imports, boost connectivity, lower logistical expenses, and lessen carbon emissions. In order to increase tourism, one of the projects would improve rail access to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ajanta Caves.
The projects that have been authorized would add 64 new stations and 900 kilometers to the Indian Railways network, encompassing 14 districts. They will boost economic development, simplify supply chains, and increase logistical efficiency. Notably, 510 villages and almost 4 million people are benefited by four of the projects, which are located in Odisha. It is anticipated that the projects will be finished by 2030–31.
