Building collapse in Gurugram that killed two people: Construction firm owner arrested.

In a tragic incident, two people were killed and several others injured when a multi-storeyed residential building collapsed in Gurugram on Saturday. The construction firm owner has been arrested by the police.

The incident took place around 4 pm in the Sector 53 area of Gurugram. The building, which was under construction, collapsed suddenly. Two people, who were working on the site, were killed instantly. Several others were injured and have been admitted to hospital.

The police have arrested the construction firm owner and an investigation is underway. It is not yet clear what led to the collapse of the building. However, it is suspected that the use of sub-standard materials and poor construction practices may have been responsible.
