Brigade Group inks twin realty projects’ pact

The Brigade Group recently signed agreements for prime land parcels in Chennai and Bengaluru and will build real estate projects on both cities, expanding its portfolio of real estate projects. The deal to buy the Mount Road property in Chennai from the TVS Group.

firm has the potential to create a mixed-use development with a million square feet of office, retail, and residential space. The Bengaluru joint development property is close to Sarjapur Road and the international schools, and it has the potential to grow to include more than 2 million square feet of residential apartments, according to CMD, Brigade Group.

M R Jaishankar elaborated, saying that the company continues to concentrate on South India, with a particular emphasis on Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, and that the acquisition of both of these properties in Chennai and Bengaluru is a part of its growth strategy. He added that the group as a whole has a pipeline of upcoming projects totaling 10 million square feet, with significant projects in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
