Brigade Group inks 2.1 mn sq ft realty project pact

Brigade Group has agreed to jointly build 2.1 million square feet of space in Chennai. The site will be built as a sizable residential complex and is situated at Perumbakkam, close to the OMR Sholinganallur junction. Over the next five years.

Brigade Group hopes to generate approximately 6,000 crore in income from just its Chennai residential sector. The company’s main area of focus will remain South India.Given that it is located in the centre of the IT Office Belt, the builder anticipates a very favourable response from customers, particularly those in the IT and ITeS industries.

According to Pavitra Shankar, Executive Director and Head of Residential Business, Perumbakkam is one of Chennai’s rapidly developing residential centres and is undergoing increased infrastructure development. The Group is also growing its residential, commercial, and retail sectors as part of its Chennai consolidation plans.
