A ₹575 crore contract has been awarded to Bondada Engineering for the development of solar power plants in Maharashtra. Letters of Award (LoA) from VVKR Photovoltaics Energy, Purelight Energy, and Lumina Clean Energy were given to the firm. As part of the project, grid-connected distributed solar power plants will be supplied, installed, tested, and commissioned. They will also be linked to 11 kV lines and a remote monitoring system (RMS) will be put in place. The objective of these initiatives is to solarize agricultural feeders under the authority of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) at the sub-station level.
