BMRCL readies DPR for Phase-III expansion

The DPR for phase three of the expansion has been prepared by the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) and delivered to the state Cabinet for final clearance. The project will receive a 44.65-km expansion once approved. By 2028, the full project is anticipated to be finished.

The first corridor will connect JP Nagar to Hebbal, according to the DPR for the first two corridors of the third phase, with stations at JP Nagar. The fourth and fifth phases will offer connectivity to JP Nagar, Kadirenahalli, Kamakya bus stand, Hosakerehalli Cross, PES college, Nayandahalli, Nagarbhavi Circle, Vinayaka layout, Ambedkar Institute of Engineering, BDA complex, and Sumana

The second corridor will link Kadabagere, Vinayaka Nagar, Sunkadakatte, Sumanahalli Cross, Herohalli, Byadrahalli, and Hosahalli.

The DPR for the third corridor, which will link Sarjapur Road and Hebbal, has not yet been finished.
