BMC floats tender for ₹350-cr Bridge in Mumbai

The CD Barfiwala flyover is nearby, and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has released a tender for the construction of a 350 crore bridge between Mayor Hall and Juhu Versova Link Road (JVLR) in the metropolis. The bridge will begin at the Barfiwala flyover’s terminus and come to rest at Balasaheb Sawant Marg on JVLR. The project planned to cut the distance between Juhu Circle and WEH in half, from 45 minutes to just 5 minutes. The bridge across the Mahim Causeway will have two arms, the first of which would go from north to south and begin in front of the Kalanagar flyover and drop at Senapati Bapat Marg. It will span between Fishermen Colony in Mahim and the WEH.

While a second bridge arm will extend from the south to the north, beginning at Senapati Bapat Marg and ending at WEH, providing additional connection for commuters travelling from Dadar and Mahim to Nariman Point. Additionally, it will reduce traffic on SV Road and Senapati Bapat Road.
