Germany’s Hengst Filtration has opened a facility in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, to meet growing demand for filtration systems in automotive, hydraulics, healthcare, and industrial sectors. With an initial investment of INR 17 Crores, the company is preparing for operations in India, recognizing its significant market and export potential.

Hengst Filtration’s Group CEO, Christopher Heine, highlighted India’s growing demand for filtration systems and its expanding economy as a significant growth opportunity. He believes the company’s innovative solutions, which combine filtration for industry and the environment, will be well-received by Indian customers.

Hengst India has expanded into India, investing around 2 million Euros to reduce emissions and improve air quality. The company’s diverse portfolio, including automotive and medical technology, aims to mitigate emissions, protect machinery, and promote a cleaner, greener planet. The inauguration of its new facility at Yelahanka signifies their commitment to establishing a strong foothold in the Indian market.

Hengst plans to expand its manufacturing presence in India, leveraging the country’s manufacturing prowess and skilled workforce. The Yelahanka facility, covering 36,000 square feet, will manufacture a variety of products across multiple verticals, exemplifying Hengst’s long-term growth strategy. The plant, constructed using reusable plastics, aims to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainability.
