bauma CHINA to be held on 22-25 November 2022

The bauma CHINA 2022 preparations are well under way. The Shanghai New International Expo Center will host the 11th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, and Construction Vehicles from November 22 to 25, 2022. (SNIEC). Despite the difficult conditions, around 3,000 exhibitors are anticipated to fill the whole show space of m2. While visitor pre-registration is currently available, exhibitor registration is still ongoing.

As bauma CHINA marks its 20th anniversary in China, it will continue to serve as both the primary venue for Chinese manufacturers of construction machines to demonstrate their capabilities to the world and the “gateway” for foreign businesses to access the Chinese market.

The quarantine period for visitors entering mainland China has been shortened as of June 28, 2022, to 7 days of centralised quarantine followed by 3 days of home monitoring.

The conditions for applying for a Chinese visa have also been lowered by the Chinese embassies in France, Australia, Indonesia, Norway, Spain, and the United States as of June 20, 2022.

International pavilions from South Korea, Germany, Italy, and Spain have thus far confirmed their attendance. Major multinational companies have submitted applications to exhibit at bauma CHINA 2022, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, ISUZU, Bonfiglioli, Bosch Rexroth, Danfoss, and Parker. bauma CHINA offers the finest venue for industry participants to reconnect in person, exchange knowledge, and network as Asia’s largest trade expo for the construction and mining machinery sector.

Automation, digitalization, artificial intelligence, energy conservation, and emission reduction have emerged as the main forces behind industrial transformation and upgrading in order to achieve the country’s dual carbon goals of getting CO2 emissions peak by 2030, reducing them gradually, and finally arriving at carbon neutrality by 2060 through planting trees, saving energy, and reducing fossil fuel output to offset carbon emissions. In order to comply with the China IV emission regulations for non-road machinery, which aim to transition all heavy-duty vehicles to soot-free emission levels, major construction machinery manufacturers have subsequently released new products.

At the same time, China’s emphasis on modernising and improving its infrastructure system would increase domestic demand for construction equipment and open up new business prospects for makers of construction equipment. The most cutting-edge construction equipment in China will be on display for visitors under one roof!
