Homegrown flexible workspace provider Awfis has expanded its presence in North India with its new 1,500+ seat co-working centre in River Side Tower, District 125, Noida. The new centre will be operational by the end of March 2022, in line with Awfis’ vision to open 200 centres across the country by the end of 2022.
The flexible spaces take a digital-first approach, with luxury and modern amenities, while maintaining social distancing norms. The centre is a state-of-the-art property designed with the idea of creating a space that is elegant, minimal and reflects Indian culture. An office like this is expected to boost productivity as it will provide much-needed support to the region’s booming business activity.
Amit Ramani, CEO and Founder, said: “The sharp recovery in the region and the growing demand for flexible workspaces motivates us to continue creating Class A flexible workspaces to facilitate a variety of flexible workspaces in the market. We believe this trend will continue to grow, and even the most traditional companies will see the benefits of having a hub-and-spoke office to help people work close to home, reducing commute times.”
Currently, Awfis has 11 co-working centres in the Delhi-NCR region and the company plans to open 10-15 more centres in the market by the end of 2022.
Awfis has launched more than 50 centres with 30,000 seats and entered 3 new markets in the past 15 months against the backdrop of strong demand for flexible workspaces. The company currently has 121 centers in 14 cities with 70,000 seats and will continue to strengthen its foothold in India, building a network of 200 centers by 2022.
